Nebraska Ground Water and Surface Water Monitoring Committees
NDEE is a member of two informal, voluntary committees, which meet approximately twice a year.
These groups are the Nebraska Ground Water Monitoring Advisory Committee (NGWMAC) and the Nebraska Surface Water Monitoring Council (NSWMC). They were established to bring together the different state, federal, and local agencies and groups that monitor the state’s ground and surface water resources.
The two groups meet separately in the spring and together in the fall.
