Report an Environmental Pollution Problem or Complaint

Immediately report by telephone
the following problems:

Acute Emergency Situations, such as

1. Spills, or
2. Releases of petroleum products, or
3. Hazardous substances

Submit a complaint by email
Electronic submittal of complaint information related to the business and operation of this agency and state government are subject to the Nebraska Public Records Act and may be subject to disclosure to the public.

If you wish to remain anonymous, do not provide personal identifying information. Please note, however that the omission of contact information may limit the ability of the agency to fully investigate the complaint should additional follow up information be needed.

Reminder: It is unlawful for any person to furnish material information known to be false to any governmental agency of the State of Nebraska with the intent to instigate or impede an investigation.

Please provide the following Information regarding an environmental pollution problem or complaint:

• Description of the problem
• When the problem occurred, dates and times
• Location of the problem, an address or directions to the site
• How are you aware of or affected by the problem?
• Who or what caused the problem
• Description of any obvious environmental damage to air, water, or land
