Current Conditions and Tomorrow's Forecast

The AQI is used for reporting daily air quality. It tells how clean or polluted the outdoor air is and what associated health effects might be of concern.

The AQI focuses on health effects that may be experienced within a few hours or days after breathing polluted air.The AQI is calculated for each of the five major air pollutants regulated by the Clean Air Act:

  1. ground-level ozone,
  2. particle pollution (also known as particulate matter),
  3. carbon monoxide,
  4. sulfur dioxide, and
  5. nitrogen dioxide.
