Applicability

eCFR Subpart R [ecfr.gov]

This subpart applies to:

  1. Affected facilities at primary lead smelters that commence construction or modification after Oct 16, 1974.

Affected facilities:

  1. Sintering machines;
  2. Sintering machine discharge ends;
  3. Blast furnaces;
  4. Dross reverberatory furnaces;
  5. Electric smelting furnaces;
  6. Converters.


Standards apply to sulfur dioxide, particulate matter and visible emissions.
