Onsite Certification Exams
2026 Onsite Certification Exams Schedule

Pre-registration is required – no walk-ins allowed. Pre-register by submitting
1. An Application for Onsite Certification
2. The Citizenship Attestation Form (unless you already have one on file with DWEE), and
3. The required fees.
DWEE Offers limited web-based testing
After submitting your application for exam and fee(s), please contact the Onsite Section at 402-471-4285, or DWEE.onsite@nebraska.gov to schedule a web-based exam.
Exam pre-info
- Exam sessions are three (3) hours long.
- Plan to attend the exam at the site you signed up for, unless you are told otherwise.
- Please bring your photo ID, a non-programmable non-graphical calculator, and your copy of the current Title 124 Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems Booklet .

All applications received less than five (5) days prior to a scheduled exam date may be held for the next scheduled exam. DWEE reserves the right to change the schedule if necessary.
