NDEQ Legal Counsel Selected as ACOEL Fellow
Annette Kovar, Legal Counsel for the Nebraska Department of Environmental, recently received national recognition from a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law.
The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) announced that Kovar was one of 20 environmental lawyers who were elected to be Fellows of the organization for the year 2013.
ACOEL Fellows are chosen from top environmental lawyers in government service, academia, non-governmental agencies and private practice. They are chosen by their peers, and this recognition is based on achievements over a minimum of a 15 year period. Members of the ACOEL are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice, and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level.
Attached is ACOEL’s press release, which lists all 20 Fellows chosen for 2013.
