eCFR Subpart WWWWWW [ecfr.gov]
Applies to plating and polishing facilities that are area sources* of HAP and that use or emit any compounds of cadmium, chromium, lead, manganese, or nickel. Chromium electroplating is not subject to this rule because it is regulated under 40 CFR 63 Subpart N.
*An area source of HAP has the potential to emit <10 tons per year (tpy) of a single HAP or <25 tpy of a combination of HAPs.

- Existing Source = constructed or reconstructed on or before 3/14/2008
- New Source = constructed or reconstructed after 3/14/2008
Initial Notification
- Existing source = 10/29/2008
- New source = 10/29/08 or upon startup
Compliance Dates
- Existing = 7/1/2010
- New source = 7/1/2008 or upon startup
Compliance Status Notification
- By compliance date
Compliance Report
- Prepare and keep on-site
- Submit with Deviations Report if deviations occur
- January 31 of each year
- Existing sources submit first report 1/31/2011
- New sources submit 1/31 following startup
