Applicability

eCFR Subpart N [ecfr.gov]

The subpart applies to:

  1. Chromium electroplating and chromium anodizing tanks at facilities that perform hard chromium electroplating, decorative chromium electroplating, or chromium anodizing.


Not subject to this subpart:

  1. Process tanks in which neither chromium electroplating nor chromium anodizing is taking place;
  2. Research and laboratory operations.
