Additional webinar, Energy Code 101, added to series “The Nebraska Energy Code”

The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) has added an additional webinar to a free multi-part webinar series on the updated 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). This series is relevant since the 2018 IECC will become the Nebraska Energy Code on July 1, 2020.

This no-cost training for local governments and members of Nebraska’s construction and design industry is part of NDEE’s commitment to provide ongoing energy building codes training for the compliance, construction and design industries in Nebraska. The newest addition to the series, “Energy Code 101,” is scheduled to occur at 10 a.m. on May 27, 2020. The presenter will be Lynn Chamberlin, who has been with the state for over 30 years, working in building energy efficiency programs and codes for both rehab and new construction work.
