Applicability

eCFR Subpart UU [ecfr.gov]

This subpart applies to:

  1. Affected facilities at asphalt roofing plants, asphalt processing plants and petroleum refineries.

Affected facilities:

  1. Saturators and mineral handling and storage facilities at asphalt roofing plants that commence construction or modification after Nov 18, 1980.
  2. Asphalt storage tanks or blowing stills that process and/or store asphalt used for roofing only or roofing and other purposes that commence construction or modification after Nov 18, 1980.
  3. Asphalt storage tanks or blowing stills that process and/or store only nonroofing asphalt that commence construction or modification after May 26, 1981
