1. Wool fiberglass manufacturing facilities considered to be, or located at, Area Sources of HAPs.

Affected Sources:

1. Gas-fired glass-melting furnaces that are not subject to subpart NNN of this part.
2. Gas-fired glass-melting furnaces, including those that use electricity as a supplemental energy source.

Source Classification

• Existing Sources = Commence construction or reconstruction on or before March 31, 1997
• New Sources = Commence construction or reconstruction after March 31, 1997

Initial Notification

• No later than Oct 12, 1999 or 120 days after startup, whichever is later.

Compliance Dates

• Existing Sources = June 14, 2002
• New Sources = Upon startup.

Notice of Intent to Test

• At least 60 days prior to test

Compliance Status Notification

• No later than 60 days after test

Compliance Reports

• Semiannual
• Must cover reporting periods of Jan 1 - June 30 or July 1 - Dec 31
• Must be submitted no later than 30 days after the end of the reporting period.
