Pulp & Paper MACT I
eCFR Subpart S [ecfr.gov]
This subpart applies to:
- Major Sources of HAPs* that produce pulp, paper, or paperboard via any of the following processes:
- Kraft, soda, sulfite, or semi-chemical pulping processes using wood;
- Mechanical pulping processes using wood;
- Any process using secondary or non-wood fibers.
*Major Sources of HAPs emit or have the potential to emit:
- ≥ 10 tons/year of any single HAP; or
- ≥ 25 tons/year of total HAPs.
- Area Sources emit less than Major Sources.
