Phosphate Fertilizers Production Plants
Applicability
eCFR Subpart BB [ecfr.gov]
This subpart applies to:
- Affected sources at phosphate fertilizer production plants that are Major Sources of HAPs*.
Affected sources:
- Phosphate fertilizer proces lines (e.g. diammonium and/or monoammonium phosphate process lines);
- Granular triple superphosphate process lines;
- Granular triple superphosphate storage buildings;
- Evaporative cooling towers.
*Major Sources of HAPs emit or have the potential to emit:
- ≥ 10 tons/year of any single HAP; or
- ≥ 25 tons/year of total HAPs.
- Area Sources emit less than Major Sources.
Not subject to this subpart:
- Research and development facilities.
