Environmental Update Meeting Scheduled May 3 in Lincoln

March 23, 2011 -- The Department of Environmental Quality will be holding its annual Environmental Update, (formerly known as Consultants Day) on May 3, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to a large response, the location has been changed -- it will now be held at the Lincoln Firefighter's Reception Hall, 241 Victory Lane, Lincoln. Representatives from businesses and industries are invited to attend, ask questions, pick up new information, and provide feedback.

The following topics will be discussed: Petroleum Contaminated Sites; Air Update, Green House Gas Reporting Rule, Impaired Waters, Threatened and Endangered Species, Hazardous Waste, Proposed Voluntary Cleanup Program Remediation Goals for Vapor Intrusion Pathways, and Livestock Updates.

If you plan on attending, please complete the registration form which is attached to the agenda below. There is a $15 registration fee (lunch included).
