The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) and the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources (NeDNR) have jointly launched a new landing page for the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment (DWEE) website.

This landing page directs people to the resources available on NDEE’s and NeDNR’s websites and prepares the public for the agencies’ official merge into DWEE on July 1, 2025. The landing page can be found here: https://dwee.nebraska.gov/. 

Jesse Bradley is currently the interim director of both NeDNR and NDEE, and will serve as the first director of DWEE. 

“The new landing page is the result of great collaborative effort between our NeDNR and NDEE teams as we work to become one agency,” Bradley said. “It is an important step toward helping the public think of our team as DWEE, rather than two separate agencies.”

The landing page contains links to the NeDNR and the NDEE legacy websites, as well as direct links to the programs each agency historically oversaw. It will remain online as the two agencies transition to a unified online presence.
